Our School celebrated the annual school week starting on the 28th of October. The week long extravaganza was flagged off by the chief guest, Shri. Latiplang Kharkongor, the honourable MDC of Nongthymmai Constituency. Also on the same day, the chief guest inaugurated the new classrooms for Nursery and KG.
During the week long extravaganza, different events and competitions were organized: singing, dancing, quiz, debate, exhibition, spelling bee, poetry, fancy dress… the list is in fact very wide and myriad. The students participated in the events with great vigour and enthusiasm. The spirit of competition was in full display during the week-long celebration.
On the final day of the School week cum food fest, Shri. Charles Pyngrope, the honourable MLA from Nongthymmai Constituency, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The presence of Sr. Carmelina Sun, the Vicar of the house, and Sr. Joplin Suchiang, our Principal, added more joy and grandeur to the day’s program. It was a day full of joy and happiness, everyone relishing on delectable dishes prepared by the teachers and student volunteers, with feet-tapping music blazing in the background. Elsewhere, others immersed themselves in the different games that were organized as part of the day’s celebration.
Physically exhausted, though mentally still going strong, food items getting over and time flying faster than light, it was time to bring down the curtains on a memorable day that everyone will cherish and remember for years to come.
