- B.Ed.
- Age limit as per government norm.

Essential qualification:
- Consistently good academic record, with at least 55% or equivalent grade in all the board/university examination for candidates from General category. For candidates from SC/ST/OBC, the requirement is 50% or equivalent grade in all the board/university examination.
Desirable qualification:
- Candidates with teaching experience of more than 3 years.
- Candidate with good computer knowledge.
