To mark the end of the scholastic year 2018, the School organized and arranged a Holy Eucharistic Mass at the Parish Church on the 14th of November, 2018 as a mark of thanksgiving to the Lord Almighty for His endless blessings showered upon the School, and as part of the Children’s Day Celebration.
Fr. Glorious Syiemlieh, the Parish Priest, was the celebrant. During the celebration of the Holy Eucharistic Mass, he blessed all the children for their upcoming examination and also held a special prayer for the Class X and Class XII students so that they excel in their board examination. A special prayer was also recited for the eternal peace of the departed soul of our beloved teacher, (Late) Ms. Kakuli Dasgupta Dutta.
After the Holy Eucharistic Mass, the students of the school assembled at the school playground to celebrate their special day: the Children’s Day. It was a joyous occasion, albeit a little somber as our dear teacher had passed away just few weeks back. The teachers and Sisters sang a joyous melody to the wild cheers of the students. A special message was delivered by both Sr. Joplin Suchiang, the Principal, and Sr. Marvella Shangpliang, the School Secretary. Both of them urged the students to work hard on their studies, as education is their future.
Snacks and drinks, and a jam session by the students mark the end of an unforgettable day.
