As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end”, it’s aptly so for the outgoing students of Class X and Class XII. It’s one of those moments when one is sad and proud at the same time. Sad to lose someone that you love, yet proud to see our young minds’ scholastic journey in the school coming to an end, and embracing life’s new journey waiting in store for them. With many of our dear students being part of the Auxilian Family since the beginning of their schooling days, it’s with a heavy heart that we, the entire Auxilian, bade them farewell and wish them success in life.

To give the outgoing students a warm farewell, the students of Class IX and XI had taken upon themselves to arrange and organize the farewell party. Sr. Marvella Shangpliang, the School’s Secretary, gave the welcome speech, welcoming all the outgoing students to the event. This was followed by a speech each from the representative of Class X and XII. Sr. Joplin Suchiang, the School’s Principal, in her speech talks about the Auxilian Values that each of our students need to inculcate. Particularly, she stressed on the importance of punctuality and time management in our day to day life. After the main event, everyone headed to the school lobby for refreshments.

It was bitter sweet to see our dear students, whom we had nurtured for years, leave the school to continue with life’s journey. As the adage goes, “A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for”, so is the adventurous journey of our dear students. As we bade farewell to them, we will watch them with bated breath as they take on life’s new journey, let them navigate the wild waves, and with a moment of pride, we will watch them conquer the rough sea called LIFE.
