The School Annual Sports Meet 2019 was held for three days from the 8th of April to the 10th of April. The theme of the Annual Sports Meet was “Play, Win, and Cheer!”
The opening ceremony was held on the 8th of April in the school playground. It was inaugurated by our honourable chief guest, Mrs. Evacorlin K. Diengdoh, the Principal of Eriben Presbyterian Secondary School.
On account of the incessant rain for two continuous days, games could not be held outdoors after the first day. The organizers and the Principal put their heads together in planning the games indoor. It turned out to be a major success as all the students participated in the games with vigor and enthusiasm.
The final day of the sports meet was held on the 10th of April in the School playground. Mr. Latiplang Kharkongor, the MDC of Nongthymmai Constituency, was the Chief Guest and Father Glorious Syiemlieh, the Parish Priest of Nongthymmai Parish, was the Guest of Honour. During the day long festivity, each house put in their best effort to win the various games and events, but in the end it was the Red House which was declared overall champion. The Green House is the winner of the March Past Competition; it was also adjudged the best disciplined team.
