On the 9th of August 2019, the Higher Secondary teachers along with the Class 12 students organized a short programme for the class 11 students as part of the Freshers’ Meet 2019 in the hostel hall of the School.
The programme was hosted by the Class 12 students. The programme stated with a welcome speech by Jane Pachuau. Immediately, the first round of Miss Freshers started in which ten girls were selected to the second round of the competition through a riddles of play. Then, a welcome song was sung by the students of Class 12, followed by the second round of the Miss Freshers contest, after which five girls were selected to the next round. Words of wisdom were given by our beloved guest of honour, Sr. Marvella Shangpliang. After the speech, the third round of the Miss Freshers contest took place. In this round, the selected girls were asked to introduce themselves and speak about their aim in life. After that there was a group dance by the class 12 students. Finally the winner of the Miss Freshers 2019 was announced by Sr. Joplin Suchiang and Sr. Marvella Shangpliang.
Lastly, the vote of thanks was given by one of the students of Class 11, thanking the teachers and the seniors for the programme.
