Inaugural Mass

Auxilium Girls’ Higher Secondary School organized the inaugural Mass for its staff and students on the 12th February 2018 at Divine Savior Parish Church, Nongthymmai. The main celebrant was Fr. Glorious Syiemlieh, the Parish priest. The Mass began at 9. 30 am was preceded by an entrance procession bringing to the Altar the  symbolic gifts of learning articles  at school and the gift  of  Bread and wine - a gesture of offering all that we do to the Lord.

In his homily, the celebrant exhorted everyone to begin their studies well putting their heart and mind whole heartedly in all their school activities.

Present at the Holy Mass were also the outgoing students of X and XII. Special prayer was offered for their success, good health and strength. And in a very creative and prayerful manner, the celebrant asked the outgoing students to kneel down while the whole congregation    extended their right hand towards them to implore God’s blessings singing out loud “Bless them Jesus.”
We are sure with God first and foremost before all our school activities we will be able to achieve success.
